Shipping and Damage Claims
Shipping and Tracking information is usually available within 24 hours for orders sent to credit card holders address. Orders sent to other than the card holder or card holders address should expect a delay in Shipping and Tracking information. This delay is for internal security purposes an to allow DuckTec to capture funds prior to shipping to alternate Parties or Addresses. This delay may take up to 4 working days. However be assured that once payment is captured, Shipping and Tracking information will be dispatched within 24 hours. Some products are manufactured by order and require a 10 to 15 day or more lead time. However, this situation is uncommon. These just manufactured products usually ship within 10 days of order. Be careful to order exactly what you want. DuckTec as a general rule does not accept returns as all sales are final.
All merchandise is carefully packed and shipped. Any damage that occurs as a result of shipping should be reported to the carrier immediately.
On receipt, examine the packaging for external damage. If there is a possibility of damage have the driver note it and if possible examine the contents for damage or missing parts in the drivers presence. Call the carrier and request an inspection and start the claim process.
All product warranties are as offered by the manufacturer.
DuckTec offers no warranty beyond or in addition to that offered by the manufacturer. We will assist to the best of our abiltiy if you have a warranty problem. All warranty claims should start with the manufacturer. If you need a phone number or address that you cannot find in your owners papers, please call us at 209-467-4577 and we will attempt to find the necessary information.
*Note: Warranty claims for appliance repair or replacement parts must be supported by invoices or work orders from qualified RV service centers or technicians.
For most warranty claims you can expect to be asked for the following information:
Date of purchase, a copy of your receipt may be required
model or model number
You may be asked to ship the product to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. DO NOT ship to DuckTec with out our prior authorization. Product received without prior authorization will only be returned at your expense.
NOTE: Warranties start AT the date of purchase! NOT the date of installation.
We accept no returns after 7 days.
Returns within 7 days
Prior to returning any product you must first obtain an RMA number as NO returns are accepted without prior authorization. For authorization and to receive your RMA number, Email, Fax or call DuckTec with the following information:
Date of purchase.
Reason for return.
All returns must be in orginal packaging and in new condition.
A copy of the original invoice must accompany all returns.
Returns must be packaged securely and shipped freight prepaid, the Return Authorazition # must be clearly marked on the package.
No credit will be issued for returns that do not include the above. Remember all returns are accepted at DuckTecs option. Be careful to order exactly what you want. DuckTec as a general rule does not accept returns as all sales are final.
If DuckTec accepts your return A 20% restocking charge will apply to all returns other than defective goods and shipping errors.
Items that have been installed and removed are not accepted. Items that DuckTec has specially ordered for you from the Mfg or Warehouses are not accepted for return. DuckTec will not accept returns after 7 days from date of purchase. For returns after 7 days, please contact the manufacturer directly.
